Having previously worked with the band to create the music video for their ode to David Attenborough (beware of its ear worm status) I was given the most open of briefs for this, an early copy of their new album, with an invitation to choose something I'd like to work with. Yes Please and Thankyou.

I really could have picked so many of the songs but this was where the choice eventually fell, a song about The British Cactus and Succulent Society. Yes they know we made it, and yes I imagine they think we're lunatics.

There's a verse of the song that lists species using their latin names and the models included in the video are all versions of these real life cacti and succulents, plus a few extra. I do love including a detail that 99.9% of people don't even clock. It's like a reward for those in the know. Hope you noticed them BCSS members!
